I use the word 'broken' to describe the past three people I've had the misfortune of knowing and meeting, who identify as transgender

Transgenderism really should never have gone past being considered a mental illness. We do not indulge in the fantasies of mentally ill people for their benefit in other illnesses. I suspect you're going to find all transgenders "broken" to some extent if you dig enough. Although maybe you could say that of everyone.

Personally I've started to feel more than a little gaslit. It's exactly like a person adamantly insisting their cat be treated as a dog, considered a dog, even though their pet is obviously a cat. I'd feel better about it if transpeople actually wrote like the gender they identify with, but they don't.

Did you ever notice that? It's not perfect, people get it wrong, but when you talk to someone with a gender neutral name online you still get an idea of what gender they are. Men and women tend to write differently, we think differently.

If someone was really a woman born in a man's body, wouldn't they think and act as a woman does? If they don't then they would just prefer to be a different gender. And that's fine, just lets not pretend we can actually do it, and nobody has to play along with that fantasy.

I'm tired of seeing cats bark at me and being told that's totally normal and don't you dare misidentify it as a dog. We can't win trying to find a well behaved cat identified dog, or a unbroken transgender person, we're just indulging in fantasy, one that is inherently sexual at that.
