I think this news story may break soon-ish. They want to invade Syria, and they've played the "Sarin Gas" card so many times I expect them to try and play it again. Especially now that the dust from the election has settled and most people are tired of paying attention to politics, and are instead focusing on the stock market. Perfect time to pull some funny business. And they don't want to waste too much time before they get this thing rolling, there's lots of money to be made. The Iraq war alone was worth $2 Trillion to them.

It wouldn't surprise me if they said something like, "We are launching an invasion of Syria, because of COVID!"

A significant percentage of the population would accept this excuse.

Edit: SocksBot would support the Covid invasion.
