They think if we have men we will have more financial stability even as they warn us about their violence.
They want other women to be as miserable and unsafe as they are

I think my mom just wants to experience a wedding for me and grandchildren from me. But the level of cognitive dissonance one must have in order to know men are deranged but also believe they can provide fulfilling partnerships.
