That was such an interesting read. I really liked the part about how they revere each other for physical strength, yet it’s so pointless. I’ll never forget this job I had where part of the job we had to lift things and they were some equipment way to big for me to lift. I worked with all men and the boss a man loved my hustle and how good I was at the job And he made a comment about unfortunate it was I couldn’t lift the bigger equipment and I replied how inefficient it was that they made this equipment this large and heavy and I think I broke something in his brain, he just stared at me speechless. I don’t think anyone had ever pointed out how pointless heavy equipment was, let alone a competent woman not feel rejected and inadequate for not being able to lift a lot, but to point out their entire system was an embarrassment. I don’t think he was ever the same after that lol. He probably started to question everything.

It’s never occurred to men that they aren’t rejecting us and we are too weak to do there jobs, but instead we are rejecting their goonish focus on bulk.

I do it all the time, I’ll see something so poorly designed and point out how inefficient it is and they try to scoff while realizing I’m right lol
