This reminds me of that story where a young girl won a welding completion for the first time in its history, but they gave the 1st place trophy to the boy so they didn’t get their feelings hurt.

Also, I knew a woman that got hurt as a medical assistant and got retrained as an electrician. She made 10x the money, had health benefits and said she never did as much physical labor as she did as a medical assistant. She got harassed so much at first with shit in her tool box, etc. she refused to give up tho Becasue it was such a good job.
