This is exactly what I've been saying for a couple of years now. But my left friends won't accept it. My right friends (surprisingly) accept it and say, yes these are problems we have and we need to make ourselves better. I was so surprised by their response that I've actually stayed in touch with them more these past few years. (They're not American/Christian) I've been voting independent. Only for parties with a female leader.

Don't fall for potential. It's the same way an abusive man promises his wife he will change but he never does. Promises aren't good for me. Show me a right wing man who want to make it easier for a woman to live without a man.

It's not like it is abroad. Most right wing men I know are supportive of women's careers, women's education and women's right to be alone. Where I'm from it's sexual freedom that they hate. Not much else. It's a very "education and career above all else" sort of place.
