See if you can find classes for kick-boxing. Those are great for cardio. And instead of generic MMA classes, look specifically for Brazilian Jujitsu. It is primarily wrestling so maybe not. Back when I was training 20 years ago, there were usually at least a couple of women in the class. Sometimes up to five women present. Us guys were always careful when wrestling females. It was about technique and not strength. The kickboxing classes always had women. I think there may have even been women's only classes.
