UV should not burn your skin or eyes at all....unless they used dangerous UV wavelengths not made for entertainment, but instead for sanitation and virus killing. Those could be seriously dangerous, burning your skin, giving you skin cancer, making you permanently blind, and creating ozone that can permanently damage your lungs.

Even this is very uncommon now days, as safe UV frequencies, still able to sanitize and kill viruses are well established now.

This is what led to the concepts in the desperate early days of Covid, of ideas to directly kill the virus in the lungs with UV light, as well as talk of other methods of direct treatment of lung tissue to kill the Covid infection in it, such as with direct chemical treatment. Several companies were very serious about this, but when Trump mentioned it publicly, the media used the opportunity to bully and ridicule Trump, by pretending he suggested using bleach to clean people's lungs. This led the destruction of these companies who were working on these novel ideas, preventing them from continuing....but what's a few thousand lives lost, compared to a memorable fake jab at the Trumpster?
