      It's not about defending or offending the police.

      Unfortunately it's the only sub we have about the police.

      And there are no subs on justice, injustice, law, legal, prisons, military, their industrial complexes, etc.

      And in all directions, the saying of good intentions paved the roads to hell; is so succulent to describe all of mankind.

      Some day, in policy, and action, we may learn to live, and let live, but until then someone's friend will always stay someone else's foe .

      Would this apply to anyone "just following orders"? I think you can hold every individual responsible for their actions, even if there was someone else encouraging or directing them to do them. Writing unjust laws, enforcing unjust laws, telling people to shock someone, etc.

        wrong on so many levels. man doing the harm regardless of belief is the one most conducting violence. other guy speaking well he's condoning which is nowhere near as wrong as acting it out. but still bad (just sooo much less so).

        So if the "leader" is say 1% as bad as the mindless thug's 100% badness, then what happens when that leader has 10,000 troops under his command? Does that only make him 100% bad?
