This is incorrect information; don't know why it's getting any 'insightful' votes.
Spez is incontrovertibly the CEO of reddit right now.
Moreover, spez (Huffman) and kn0thing (Ohanian) are best understood as the co-founders of reddit and the cultivators of the awful techbro culture that has existed there right from the start (my earliest account on reddit dates to May 2006; I've been there for most of its history and so know that it's always had a pretty awful culture that comes directly from the two co-founders who I just named).
Swartz could also be seen as a co-founder of reddit but he was grafted onto the project (that had already been started by the other two) by venture capitalist Paul Graham after his own project, infogami, failed to gain traction. And he was never the CEO of reddit (nor would he have wanted to be). Moreover, he very quickly grew disillusioned with reddit and probably, although this is speculation on my part, also grew to dislike Huffman and Ohanian.
Finally, we can't ever know if a suicide was real or faked (to cover up murder). But my understanding of the circumstances around Aaron's death leads me to think it probably was suicide. To outrightly state that he was killed, as you have done, is more propagation of dubious/incorrect information and, imo, is disrespectful to the person involved and his family.
