Sure they matter, so long as it doesn't conflict with the identities currently at the top of the progressive stack. Wamen had for years enjoyed that privilege on Reddit and can still do their feminist thing so long as they target regular old males and pay the respect due the new oppression olympics champions. The old guard feminists certainly make enough noise. They’re determined to ignore the ideological lineage of intersectionality in favour of finding bizarre ways to blame patriarchy.

True, there are old secondwavers (like the one who did a tour with Steven Crowder) who are still around and trying to pull back the reigns on clown world. But they are a dying breed.
