A new anthem for what?

The old said it all.

When schools used to recite The Lord’s Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, we were being taught that all people matter.

Why do others feel that it is necessary to change our respect to our flag if they would just listen to what it says?

The national anthem is not for one person or race but for all. It stands for all the brave and those who have died for all of us to be free regardless of race or color. Pledge allegiance to the flag stands for one nation under God and Justice for all not for one person or race or color but for all.

The Lord’s Prayer said “Our Father,” not one race or color, but our’s.

Forgive us as we forgive those, lead us, not me not you but us.

Why do we need to say Black lives matter when all Lives matter? This should not have to be said. Defunding the police because of a few bad police — there are lots of bad people around the world. That doesn’t make all people bad.

Our forefathers did a good job with these pledges.

If you want to protest something or take a stand, then protest that we put the Lord’s Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance back in all of our schools, then we can start teaching our young children and future adults that all lives matter and to treat others as we would want others to treat us, to respect our country and united we will stand, or divided we will fall.
