I'm so fucking pissed about the ending lmao.

=====SPOILERS AHEAD=====

The dumb hets fucked everything up again. Seriously, this guy has billions of women around the world to choose from and he goes for his brother's wife? Then he hides in his office and leaves the lesbian to deal with his fucking mess. He should've died instead of Hannah. I wish he died. And that jackass ghost got THREE women killed. What a piece of shit. Ugh. There was no justice. All the assholes ended up better than they started out and the good people were worse off for it.

I agree the ending was garbage. I think the creators just decided to have a sad ending because people complained the first season's ending was too happy. I can accept a sad ending but it wasn't narratively satisfying to have it end tragically since the show already focused on the toxic couple ending tragically as well as Owen and Hannah and everyone just forgets about Dani...

I think the tragic ending worked in the context of the theme of the show, which is about love without ownership and by extensions, love that is beautiful in its transience. Jamie loved Dani even though she literally doesn't own her (ghost lady did) and there was an expiration date set for their relationship before it had even properly begun. But Arrghh I hate seeing it as a result of asshole behavior on other people's part. That feels less poetic and more like getting fucked over. Especially when said assholes were all better off for it. Grrrrr.
