I need to fix my laziness. But maybe I'll do that next year ;)

Taking more time to enjoy life. I feel like I’m always working and when I’m off, I’m not doing anything.

I agree with this. Although I do travel during my long holidays, I work constantly without breaks or fun until I reach them. I think we deserve time to enjoy life more often.

Get my lazy ass back to the gym. I was on track with my fitness goals before the quarantine but since the covid saga has started, I spend most of my time working from couch and eating stuff that is turning me into a Michelin Man quite quickly.

No words can describe how much I hate working out. Just picturing the gym machines is draining my soul haha. But I also don't want to lose my swag completely. So heading to the gym next week

Physically I'm trying to improve my skin. I don't have pimples or anything, I just want more 'flawless' skin. So I've been using fancy soaps and lotions. I don't wear makeup, so that helps.

Spiritually I'd like to find inner peace, but I think everyone does.

I'd also like to be more organized and throw out a bunch of shit. I don't need to have a closet full of band tees I haven't worn since my early 20s. I think 5 to 10 shirts and two pairs of pants is enough for anyone. I want to get to that point.

Cetaphil is a really good moisturiser. Particularly during Autumn and Winter when it is even drier. I have fair, sensitive skin, at night I put it on after I wash my face, and I always wake up looking fresh and hydrated.

And if you are not already, definitely use sunscreen! It makes a big difference.

Learn how to be still. I’ve realized how bad I am at doing nothing lately, the overwhelming feeling of restlessness is reaching an insane level. Then I should really take more time for family since I’ve been avoiding most of them since January.

How are you feeling now? I remember the crazy horse horror story you told in one of the threads

Frustrated and pent-up would be the best way to describe how I’m feeling mentally, painful would describe physically. I have a doctor appointment this afternoon so at least I get to leave the house today, that will be nice.

I want to find inner peace. After almost 10 years of being single I've convinced myself that I'm unlovable, but I've realized you attract the energy you put out. If I feel I'm unlovable why would anyone else want to love me. I've started doing yoga and I plan to walk on my treadmill for at least 30 minutes every day. I've also picked up reading again since covid hit, and it's been helping to broaden my horizons, even while being stuck at home. Maybe by the time I'm 40 I'll learn to love myself again. It's not too late to start over at 40, right?

Fwiw, it's never too late to start over. There are people who start over every morning, in a way. It's a beautiful thing - courage to face the routine.

Getting out of my headspace more. There is a point beyond which introversion tips into solipsism. Sometimes I think I drove at 200 mph past that point a while ago. :) Ain't pretty looking in the rear view mirror.

There's a country song in here somewhere and it starts with "I hurt myself today" :)

I haven't been outside with anyone (who is not my family) for 6-7 years already, lol. I am completely goner now :D

Stretching. Maintaining a healthy distance from the more insane aspects of my job. Staying open to possibilities and vulnerable.

I feel you on the job one! Its tough. Boundaries are a must when possible!

There are a lot of very difficult people in my line of work that tend to do a lot of projection of their issues on to their coworkers. Sometimes the people are the best part, and the absolute worst part, sometimes both at the same time. Film is nuts.

It’s especially hard to maintain boundaries when we work so much and are always together.

I am reassured and also sorry to hear boundaries are an issue in your job too!

My drawing skills are coming along pretty well, considering I didn't start drawing until I was an adult.

Rebuild my body. I was ill, had surgery and lost too much weight (muscles). I've started but it's a slow process.

Start doing things I like again. I worked so much I forgot to have a life.

Change jobs.

Physical fitness, I'm in pretty good shape but there is always room to improve.

Also skincare, finding the perfect sunscreen that does not clog my pores and trying to introduce a vitamin C serum. My skin is really sensitive so it freaks out over small changes in my routine.
