I like assertiveness not aggression. I work with the public and I tend to be from the calmer of my coworkers, I hate when people escalate situations. However I am quick to defend myself out in public against potential sexual predators. If a man approaches me at night and I sense something is off, I will immediately start yelling really loudly and flipping him off. Even of hes not a predator and hes just asking for directions, that's the reaction a man should expect when approaching a young women at night. Better safe than sorry

    yes most people would use aggression when necessary, in self defense, but i wouldn't describe someone as an aggressive person per se unless they regularly use unnecessary aggression on their daily interactions
