Except there are no free markets anywhere, except the labor market where each worker is pit against every other worker (within a geographical and sphere of activity zone) for who will do the most for least. Which is why capitalism ABSOLUTELY NEEDS a good dose of Socialism along with it, to regulate its excesses. Scandinavia, France, the UK, Canada, Germany and many other Western nations have done very well with a moderate socialist-capitalist system.

It's strange because marx and engels would disagree with you. Communism and socialism are one and the same. You are either being willfully ignorant or intellectually dishonest. Next thing you know you'll be saying that the manmade famine in the Ukraine had nothing to do with communism and socialism. They also have a large majority that historically have been homophobes, racists, pseudo intellectuals, racists, antisemites, and historical revisionists. The pre-Marx Socialists would wholeheartedly disagree with you. They were anarchists, libertarians and capitalists, all at the same time as being Socialists. You need to learn this stuff if you're going to talk about it.
