Every parent should see this and this.

These people give actual LGB educators such a bad reputation, they are making it harder to be an out educator. I'm a lesbian and a teacher, I don't talk to my kids about my sexuality because I don't talk to them about sexuality at all, gay or straight. My class is a safe space from anything that could hinder their education and adding romance/dating is a huge source of drama and tension for kids and teens.

I think LGB teachers and staff should be out to their coworkers and students parents, atleast as "out" as the norm for a straight person at their school, ie if Beth can have pictures of her boyfriend Jack at school and bring him to school events and work parties then she should be able to do the same with her girlfriend Jenny. But that's the extent of LGB representation I'm comfortable with from staff, too many of these loons are using LGB rights and rep as an excuse to groom and proselytize students into their self-harm cult, I no longer trust "queer educators" to be acting in the student's best interest.

I try to be a positive role model for my kids and an honest and communicative partner with my student's parents in our team effort to educate their children. How can I develop a strong relationship with the parents/families if I'm lying to them and grooming their kids behind their backs?! As a teacher, it's my job to plan the curriculum and content for my students AND share the why's and goals of the content with families, so they can be involved outside of school in deepening their child's learning. How these clear and present dangers ever got their teaching licenses AND a paid job in the field is beyond me 😒

This is exactly how it should be.

I remember a lesbian couple who were in our religious group, and they were so "boring" if that's the right word?

They were just like any old middle class, married straight couple.

Funny how the weirdo queerdos don't seem to want that.
