Gays and lesbians got fired from teaching positions back in the gap because people thought we’d try to groom kids. We spent decades fighting against this harmful stereotype and now trans people are actually grooming kids.

As someone who works with youth professionally, this is sickening. Kids and teens are very impressionable. They do not need people putting ideas in their head that could have negative life-long consequences. Just let kids be kids. They’ll figure out adult things on their own as they grow up.

Also, this sort of behavior from the trans community is likely to blow up in the faces of LGB people who work with youth. It’s maddening.
