”Every hate group, every fascist movement, they all tend to gravitate around a narrative that they have a purpose, and that by doing these things they’re fulfilling this mythical purpose.”

Idk, sounds a whole lot like how the trans community sees itself. The only narrative of droptheT and GC communities is, “please fuck off from LGB and women’s spaces and leave us alone.”

Also, this is petty, but he should have said either “they all gravitate” or “fascist movements tend to gravitate.” Saying “they all tend to gravitate” is wishy-washy and doesn’t actually make sense.

I mean you can't really get anywhere with someone who begins by (a) declaring you a "hate group" (dismissal), and (b) Declaring you irrational (dismissal). By definition nothing you ever say that disagrees with this person will ever matter because you're already presupposed to be emotional, irrational, and wrong.

I think most of us are willing to have discussions with TQ about how their rhetoric and aims are harmful to LGB people and women. Personally, there were ways I was willing to compromise if a dialogue happened. The problem is that they not only refuse to actually talk, but paint us as irrational hate groups while casting themselves as victims.

"Conversation is always good, right? I would like to sit down with people who are open to it — who say, 'I have been taught this hate, but you seem like a decent person. Tell me more.' I would love to have conversations like that, but a lot of the times, it's not [like that]. The trolls want to be trolls, and the trolls want to hate because it makes them feel good, putting other people down. So, talking only goes so far with these people. But you just have to keep trying."

I honestly find it hard to believe people can think like this without any self awareness. It's nothing more than "I am only willing to talk to people who are already going to agree with me". Nobody defines what they believe as "hate". I don't "hate" trans people, but I guarantee this person thinks I do. She's so entirely and completely bound up in her own worldview she cannot even phrase things in such a manner as to consider other people have LEGITIMATE REASONS to disagree with her.

This is the real poison pill. This is the real poisoning of the well. It's the framing of all discourse such that the only acceptable discourse, the only allowable discourse, the only thing that won't get you banned, is meekly bending the knee in subservience to her ideology and asking to be told why you're such a bad person.

Ever met a narcissist?

This person is using what are called DARVO tactics. If you're interested, please look DARVO up. Trans activists use DARVO tactics all the time to try to gaslight women, gays and the kind-hearted.

Yup, exactly. Unsurprising given the remarkable prevalence of narcissistic personality disorder among trans people..

Conversation in their language doesn't mean an exchange of ideas and different point of views. Conversation to them is when you give up on your views for them... that's how I see their thought process. So basically conversation is their "education" and if you still stand with your views then you're just a troll and a hate group...

It's also complete horseshit to position the TRAs on Reddit as being open to conversation. Go on r/actuallesbians and say something about not being into dick (no offence lads) and see how long it takes you to get permanently banned.

NPR and left wing science denial, a perfect fit.

It's because many media outlets are being partially-funded by Trans, Inc. (the very well-funded, global gender lobby). Democracy Now!, NPR (this appeared in the Boston NPR affiliate) many others...

Or the media outlet is outright owned by companies with a vested interest in an increase in the numbers of transgenders, because transgenders are big business to medical and pharmaceutical companies.

And after transgenders' health fails, which it will because they're doing things to their bodies they shouldn't be, they will be even more profitable. They'll be taking hormones and fixing botched surgeries AND taking heart medication and having cancer treatment...transgenders are a bonanza for the Medical Industrial Complex.

I was curious if anybody investigated the funding behind current LGBT organisations and their programmes. But just recently stumbled on another comment of yours where you mention Jennifer Bilek did. I'll look it up, and will appreciate any recommendations from you.

Jennifer Bilek has two articles out on the funding for Trans, Inc. that are very enlightening and explain how so many laws have been passed, and not just in the US, for the benefit of the gender diverse, even though these laws are often detrimental to women's rights and gay rights.

I think both articles are on Bilek's blog:

The11thHourBlog.com

There's also a mystery person who goes by SueDonym (I might have the spelling wrong) on Medium who has done what seems to be amazingly detailed investigative work into Trans, Inc.

I don't know how to link unless I start a new thread, so I'll find some of SueDonym's articles on trans lobby funding and astro-turfing and link them as separate threads.

On a tangent, Bardfinn is a textbook midwit. Idk if any of you have seen his multiparagraph screeds where he uses set theory to "prove" people wrong in comments but it is a sight to behold. The dude is clueless and extremely full of himself, a classic combo for comedy.
