You are expected to make a move on the girl when the date is ending. You know, touching and caressing her, gently going for a kiss, etc... If the date doesn't end with at least a kiss they won't want a second date.

With women you kinda of have to take the lead or else you will probably never get anywhere (unless you are chad). For example, you shouldn't be asking them when they are available for a date, instead pick a day and a place and ask them: "Hey, this place sounds nice, wanna have dinner there tonight?"
