what I'd like to add too is that it's 100% apparent when a guy's got a girl's interest. Women will give you one word responses and show no interest in your passtimes or hobbies or careers. But, let Chad walk past and just say "hi" to her and she wants to know everything about him. She literally will not shut up about Chad even if he's not in the area.
