Personally I wish there were more places like this where we could be critical both of gender and of gender ideology without necessarily being feminist or conservative. I simply want people managing their depression and dysphoria to avoid making the same, harmful, irreversible mistakes that some of my friends made (and that I nearly made), and to realize that there's a lot more to life than what could be found in any supposed identity.

I hope this sub, and places and orgs like it, grows, because it's going to take a broad coalition to end this well-funded movement to endlessly drug, sterilize, and mutilate people as treatment for their depression and dysphoria. I have nothing against those that undergo affirmative surgeries, just those that push it on young and vulnerable people.
