Well that apparently isn't Capcom's intention, considering the teaser at the end of RE4R.

I do think the extra horror elements and mechanics made RE4R even better than before, and it's something RE5 could benefit from. While RE5 isn't a bad game it lacked the horror element of the old games and honestly, RE4R is a masterpiece.
