...I believe I just watched a fucking Beta fish learn not only the walking and dialogue mechanisms of the game, but also the door mechanics of the game. And GameFreak said the reason the series has been dumbed-down since Black & White 2 and completely holds your hand, is because it's "a game for kids, not adults".

When I was a lil kid and received Pokemon Blue, I was just learning how to read and only understood a few words/word combinations and sentence structures on paper. I remember annoying my parents cuz I would interact with each NPC and ask my parents what the NPCs were saying until they'd tell me to fuck off 2 my room. I beat the game not fully having learned how to read yet at a young age, without understanding the majority of the dialogue, yet they have to mess with mechanics and dumb it down for "kids". And I just watched a fucking beta fish learn and seem to understand the mechanics of the game (which they admitted to dumbing down for the "I Choose You" Kanto remakes to attract players who started with Pokemon Go).

You have no idea how hard getting through rock tunnel was without flash at like 5-6 years old.
