Repetition. It's so difficult to stay consistent in this sport, especially with the playing field constantly changing from hole to hole and course to course.

Yeah I get it, but that's where the problem lies. I hit alot of golf balls. Over 500 a week easy, and that would be a slow week. I play enough to where I shouldn't be this wildy inconsistent. If I just played whackfuck every weekend I wouldn't have even had the audacity to type the post, because I wouldn't have any real expectations. It's because of the time and money spent on the game, where my expectations understandably get higher for myself.
