I'm 100% for legalizing pot across the board. The war on drugs is a complete failure, and pot is the number one evidence of that. Having said that, McConnell, though I disagree with him, is doing what his constituents want. This is the fault of the Dems. They had a super majority when Obama was in the White House and could have taken it off schedule one then. They have teased it for votes, but like abortion, did nothing. Now the GOP has the house and any hope of this getting resolved is put on the back-burner once again. My state is the same. Every time it gets close to legalization, a handful of Dems, who all ran on it, abstain from voting and the bill gets delayed again. This has been going on for a decade.
