Yes, they do it for self benefit a lot of the time. Even if they don't want to be coddled, might as well take the oppurtunity to give yourself a better life. A lot of the time I find it to be Black WOMAN who want this stuff and cringy LIBERALS who are racist to black people but in a different way. Very Ridiculous
