I don't think food should be regulated at all. The FDA, USDA, and others amount to nothing more than the enforcers for the monopolized farming/ranching industrial complex.

It's been around a long time, simplot ran farmers out of business in WW2 because he said no potatoes, unless it's an exclusive for me! And, presto, it was granted.

All of farming, and ranching anymore is dominated by the corporate farm, protected from all of their wrong doings by the very supposed governmental bodies that 'were' supposed to protect everyone.

It just doesn't work, we need to learn to use our Personal Responsibility to decide what we ingest, and don't.

No, I'm not a vegan but do drink a half glass or so of soy most days. That's not enough to qualify as a soy boy I think.

While growing up my closest neighbors and friends were two brothers who milked the family cows every day and drank the RAW milk!! I last saw them at age 21 or so and they were quite healthy. They tried to teach me how to milk but I was hopeless. My landlord in Mexico grew up on a dairy farm in upstate New York and at eighty he was not just fit but vigorous. I know because he was banging the maid regularly. Pardon my English. I'm pretty sure he married her after I moved on.

Scores of studies show that children exposed to certain bacteria are healthier as adults.
