I don't agree with the organisation. I don't agree with what that tweet's claiming. But I also don't agree with the tweet.

The issues raised here can be grouped into two groups:

  • Companies refusing to help them achieve goals that the company does not want to endorse nor be associated with (and possibly not to be fulfilled, though internal motives are hard to identify).
  • "The media" – probably tabloids, though the "TV" claim is concerning if true – doing anything to get a story, to the point of unethical behaviour.

One of these things is not like the other.
