It is as it has always been. The human institution of religion preempts the divine so that it can be used as a vehicle towards power and wealth. Just as Moses before led the people out of the wilderness to worship in a tent before the priesthood built a lavish temple. So did Jesus afterward leaf his followers in poverty and after his death they met in spare rooms and caves, let now learning not the lesson of Babel from the Bible, they build lofty towers to heaven to be more like God and they are so confused already that god needs no intervention to muddle their language and sew confusion as they do a good enough job of managing it themselves.
