The Greens have been split on the issue [...]. But opponents say that such rulings can lead to the marginalization of Muslim communities in Germany.
This is one of the reasons why the far-left will face a mainstream backlash in Germany, too. You can either have your feminist utopia or a place in which muslim men are free to slap and control their women in hyper-conservative families. You can't have both.

I work in schools. There was a girl from Yemen who came to live here. She wore a hijab the first year. Ditched it the second year.
Pretty much is the same in Detroit too. You don't really see that many hijabs now. The culture Americanizes itself here by itself.

Good! I know Muslims (pretty pious folks but normal Americans in most ways) who hate the practice of compelling women to cover up from head-to-toe, and express their anger about it to non-Muslims like me and my family because they’re literally too afraid to tell their religious leaders what they think. Niqabs and burkas (which cover the face either partially or completely) should be outlawed in any country.

More correctly : A German federal state bans burqas. Thankfully i'm not living in this one.
Baden-Württemberg is almost as awful as Bavaria since they elected their jews , ehh greens to rule them. Right: it's called greens in this country.
Just look at this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuttgart_21 . The greens switched sides many times on that one. Almost like a candle in the wind. And https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winfried_Kretschmann wants to become chancellor with the German car-industry (almost all the heavyweights) in his back.
This clearly shows how fucked up this guy is because this obviously isn't green. It is pure black. It's label dizziness and only blind sheep can believe this bs.
What about Mercedes exporting their whole IT-Department to eastern Europe, e.g. ? 3000 well-paid jobs GONE. Did he act or try to ? Of course not bc. they already transformed him into their socketpuppet.

So ... uh... why is a ruling needed now and why wasn't it made already?
