Yooooo... a high-school teacher telling her student to do only fans and take off his clothes so she can take a look at the goods....

I was going to talk about the irony of a tv show made by black people glorifying gun violence and at the same time blaming the violence in black ghettos on the government bringing guns in, but there is so much getting pushed just in the trailer it's not even possible to cover it all in one sitting.

I don't see this lasting. I see this becoming a gold mine for "right wing" podcasts and getting canceled because of that while fan outrage is blamed.

I think the jokes are funny. That is all.

From the Youtube page, the showrunner is Ranada Shepard, executive producers Stephen Curry, Norman Lear (he's still alive??) and Seth MacFarlane.

The showrunner has done some previous (black) TV but at a glance it doesn't look particularly woke. Anyway she's getting blasted on Twitter.

I agree that it does not seem extremely woke in it's intentions, and seeing that Seth MacFarland is involved I definitely see family guy vibes. But they are definitely not going to be anti woke and the premise inherently forces woke narratives. Every time they portray anything associated with blacks there will be a woke framing of it, if not outright perception shaping and propaganda.
