For a moment I thought the Einstein quote in which he promoted the Talmud, and which I always thought was a complete fabrication, had its origin in the last name of his tutor being Talmud. Well, it turns out that in fact he did regret not studying the Talmud more, and the name of his tutor is just a coincidence.
Shakespeare is mentioned in the comments to this article. The rarity of genius without a tutor is another argument why Shakespeare was someone else.
