Letting any one parent to ban books is going too far.

It would be effective at quickly getting the groomer texts out of schools, but I think I agree with you. Achieving that short-term goal isn't worth giving parents this kind of power.

I was ready to disagree cuz of censorship but it sounds like a good law, let the parents get sex ed books for their kids themselves if they really want to

My understanding is that this bill is strictly about library books, not curriculum-required textbooks. I could be wrong about that but if the bill only deals with library materials, biology/health classes could still have sex-ed instruction.

When I was a kid the best way to get me to read a book was to ban it.
