Republicans destroy regulations through regulatory capture

Republicans: We need to abolish regulations, look how damaging they are!

Same story, different "side". People in power always try to sabotage the things they don't like by corrupting them, to prove their own point.

I can't imagine being so shallow I'd mess up my own living environment just to prove a point and gain some control over others. Selfishness and narcissism are the roots of tribalism, which create the divisive atmosphere the media is constantly stirring up to this very day.

Maybe some day humanity will become acutely aware of this manipulation and stop falling for it.
