Saddam had already launched two wars of conquest - including trying to outright steal Kuwait - and stopped participating with UN weapons inspectors, even though he was instructed to cooperate by the United Nations Security Council.

So, it didn't really matter whether Bush lied about a pile of biological weapons (which the world watched him use on the Kurds) or whether Condoleeza Rice lied about aluminum tubes being for Saddam's nuclear program (which the world had watched him develop since the 1970s).

Saddam needed dealing with, because, once he obtained WMDs, nobody could stop him stealing Khuzastan or Kuwait next time.

We would have had another Putin on our hands 20 years early. Nations are constrained by Putin's WMDs, or else a coalition would have restored order and Highway of Deathed the ruzzian army already last year.

There were no WMDs. I knew it, you knew it. Everybody else knew it.

And now you are bringing up Ukraine? Well guess what? There are Bio labs in Ukraine.

You're an idiot. Saddam absolutely had WMDs.

This just shows what an atrociously unreliable source of information you are.

Saddam was developing chemical WMDs

Saddam used mustard gas against the Kurds

Man, you must really love Dick Cheney and the old school deep state GOP governance. Do you support all war mongers, or just the one's the media tells you to?

You were factually incorrect on a pretty deep level.

It really betrays a deep misunderstanding about reality, if you thought you could competently insist to me that Saddam didn't have WMDs.

I do understand that, instead of acknowledging just how incorrect you were, you'd like to change the topic to talking about my love for Cheney or whatever. I understand why you'd need to change the topic, why don't you just confirm to me that yes you'd like to change the topic away from your massive, massive blunder and I'll gracefully move on with you

I am in awe of this sentence/paragraph:

You were factually incorrect on a pretty deep level.

Amazing. Simply amazing! And then this sentence/paragraph:

It really betrays a deep misunderstanding about reality, if you thought you could competently insist to me that Saddam didn't have WMDs.

Wow. Tell me. What does Thorazine taste like?

I do understand that, instead of acknowledging just how incorrect you were, you'd like to change the topic to talking about my love for Cheney or whatever. I understand why you'd need to change the topic, why don't you just confirm to me that yes you'd like to change the topic away from your massive, massive blunder and I'll gracefully move on with you

Oh yes. I would like very much to 'change the topic away from massive blunder, please do gracefullly move on with me'.

I don't know how you can still believe you're correct when I gave you half a dozen links to go and research.

Are you honestly going to stick to your guns here? You're going to insist, in the face of all evidence, that Saddam didn't have biological WMDs, chemical WMDs and a nuclear program?

Talk about "down the memory hole" - did you at one time know about Saddam's chemical weapons but have since forgotten? Everyone knew Chemical Ali except for you, apparently

[–]Questionable[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Yes. There is a great deal of things you don't know or understand.

[–]Site_rly_sux 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Oh look at mister massive brain over here making excuses for why he forgot Chemical Ali existed.

It's because his brain is so massive, so he didn't need to learn about mustard gas or sarin, he has a special big brain privilege where he just authoritatively say "there were no WMDs" and we all have to pretend to believe him or else he'll start crying

Okay baby, you were right, we're all amazed by your powers of perception and recall, Saddam didn't have nerve agents or a nuclear program, go back to sleep little baby and let the grown ups talk

[–]Questionable[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Gosh amazing. Wow I didn't see that coming. Go on.
