People took time off work and liked it.
You give people free money for claiming disability, lots of people are going to claim.

Pretending to have conditions you don’t have has become a huge trend lately. Tourette’s, DID, autism, EDS, and POTS are all popular right now.
There are a ton of kids using mobility aids they don’t need. I’m sure they’ve figured out how to scam the government for bennies.
So, malingering.
