For those of you that want context: this was during the /r/dogswithjobs drama in the winter of 2019, when a group of rabid anti-police SJWs on Reddit became obsessed with getting pictures of cop dogs banned on Reddit, claiming that it was too traumatizing for people who have been attacked by cop dogs to see a positive picture of a cop dog just being a dog.

It might have spread to eyebleach too, but it definitely started on /r/dogswithjobs where a moderator made a police dog post as 'bait' to ban users that criticised the police.
