Then why do you see value in fighting against it? Your efforts will always be overshadowed by theirs when it comes to this word. So why not use an equivalent word? It just seems a pointless uphill battle to me. People know what the word collusion is, but they won't imply you're not of sound mind for using it... I see no reason to shoot yourself in the foot like that. But I see what you're going for and I won't stand in your way because I can see the value it in it.
