I feel like the exodus that felt inevitable a year ago is not necessarily the case right now. We have bastions of freedom like Florida, which has given a little bit of guts to gutless places like Texas, and a few others.
IMO people should keep making plans to move if necessary and building up their own independence regardless. Don't panic or lose sleep or anything, but don't forget to stay alert.
Even Disney supposedly is going to focus on better stories and worry less about wokeism (we'll see I find that hard to believe).
I have a hunch that media pushes leftism hard during Republican administrations, and dials it back during Democratic ones.
I don't remember media being unwatchably bad under the early and mid Obama administration, for example. That only happened around the time Trump got in.
It would make sense if the same were true for Biden - Hollywood hasn't actually changed their minds, they just know they'll lose their entire audience if they keep shoveling crap.

For those conservatives who would rather not be sent to a gulag.
This is not a free speech sub. Leftists will be banned. Off-topic threads will be removed.
