So enlighten me with the truth.

It reads like bull shit. Like someone was sitting around, jacking off, writing a fantasy story.

I believe in god, just not our iterations of god. Our stories read like our stories. They don’t read like any kind of truth.

How does one believe in God, but not His stories?

It’s really easy when the Catholics rape more children than lives they save.

Religion is one man’s take on spirituality.

God is not religion.

I'm not a big fan of Catholicism or the Vatican.

I live by His Word, I pray but don't go to Church.

Well. I live by my word. And I believe in a god. I think I believe in the same god as you.

Amen.

I believe many people believe in the same God without knowing, because His name is not that important.

Jehova, YHWH, Elohim, Adonai, Allah...

Some just call Him The Supreme Being.

14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on your name. 15 But Yahuah said unto him, Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the other nations, and kings, and the children of Yashar'el: 16 For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

MA'ASIYM (ACTS) 9

1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. 2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: 3 Because I will publish the name of Yahuah: ascribe ye greatness unto our Elohiym.
DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 32

12 Then beware lest you forgetאת eth-Yahuah, which brought you forth out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage. 13 You shall fearאת eth-Yahuah Elohayka, and serve him, and shall swear by his name.
DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 6

22 I will declare your name unto my brethren: in the midst of the assembly will I praise you. 23 Ye that fear Yahuah, praise him; all ye the seed of Ya`aqov, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Yashar’el.

TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 22

Sing unto Elohiym, sing praises to his name: extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name Yah, and rejoice before him.

TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 68

14 Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my yeshu`ah.

TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 91

25 O Righteous Father, the world has not known you: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them your name and will declare it: that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Whoever translated this apparently understands Hebrew even less than I do. את is just a marker that's used when a definite is a direct object, it's not some kind of symbolism. And we don't know how יהוה is pronounced, thanks to both the Jews and Christians suppressing it. But ancient evidence suggests that it could wildly vary depending on the dialect.

By the way, "name" in many of your examples is used like it is in Luke 6:22.

Earth is the same thing as Hell, and Jesus definitely isn't its current ruler.

I never thought Jesus would rule Hell and Satan would rule the Earth.

I always thought it was the other way around.

But now it all makes sense.

There's no such thing as Hell. Or Heaven. They're human inventions adapted from pagan religions and myths about the underworld.

Heaven in the Bible is a purposeful mistranslation of the word sky. So no, Elijah wasn't taken to "Heaven", he was lifted up high in the air and safely landed somewhere else. He was still around afterward. No one lives in the sky either, that's a figure of speech. To the ancient people the sky was the edge of the universe.
