exactly, men have never been more religious than women, they only appear to be because they use religion to strictly control women, that’s the only time they’re religious, when they can use their religion to be misogynists/pedophiles/rapists/abusers etc, women on the other hand truly believe in religion and abide by it, i’m not sure why, maybe it’s the hope that in their next life they’ll get a taste of heaven and freedom or maybe they just like the sense of community, but either way they’re very obviously masochists. my mom is currently re-reading the quran and she genuinely finds it peaceful to read hundreds of pages detailing why she is inferior to men and why she deserves to be beaten and raped by her husband. she and other religious women are beyond retarded🤷🏽‍♀️
