When I read about this scandal, the first thing I saw was the allegation of Armie Hammer being a cannibal. Being bored and nosy, I combed through the released texts between him and his “kittens” (the girls he was with; he called them ‘kittens’, they called him ‘daddy’).

He detailed his fantasies of cannibalism, as well as fantasies of murdering women, having sex with their corpses, keeping parts and organs of their bodies, using blood as lube for anal, getting turned on by scaring women, etc. Social media was more focused on the bizarre cannibalistic kink, but there was also a lot of, “don’t kinkshame!!!” and “Armie Hammer isn’t a REAL dom because he abuses women and BDSM is never abusive!!!”

Anyways, in my rambling, I’m trying to say that I kind of agree with you. I still feel slightly sorry for those women because I do believe he scared the shit out of them, but at the same time, I’m tired of seeing women make dumb, degrading decisions and not take responsibility. Apparently, one woman decided to meet up with Hammer at a park while he was walking with his young daughter. She had no issues having sex with a guy while he was looking after his child, and he had no issues with using his child as an excuse to meet up with his mistress (I think he was still married at that time, but I'm too lazy to check).

This whole situation exemplified the ultimate worst qualities of men and women. Armie Hammer is the exemplary terrible man: predatory, domineering, selfish, and violent. The submissive mistresses were the exemplary terrible women: foolish, spineless, weak-willed, and easy prey.

Oh, one last thing I found interesting: there was an interview Hammer did with Playboy a couple of years ago where he talked about how he enjoyed rough sex, but stopped having rough sex once he got married to his wife. He claimed it was because he “respected” his wife too much. The Madonna/Whore dichotomy will never go away, no matter how many sex-positive liberal feminists and sex-critical radical feminists alike fight against it. I believe the vast majority of straight men, if they could, would live this sort of life: keeping a Madonna wife to produce and raise their children and to upkeep their "good guy" image, while keeping a harem of “whores” for rough, unbridled sex.

Ngl, I think women are safer and better off being prudes—or at least, being really, really selective about which men they have sex with. Straight men never see sex as a negative because it’s not dangerous for them. Obviously, the better option is to separate form men completely or as much as possible, but that’s never going to happen on a large scale. Instead, the more reachable goal for the average straight woman is to be choosy as hell when finding a mate, but even that’s not gonna happen. Advising women, “Hey, maybe you shouldn’t be fucking around with men who are bad news” is too hurtful and mean lol. Telling women to be cautious, safe, dignified, and to take responsibility for their poor choices is a big no-no nowadays.

This was a long comment, my bad, but this is the only place where I can speak freely on such topics.

Yes, that's true. The average straight man can't get a live-in harem of hot women, but he has access to pornography, strip clubs, e-girls, OnlyFans, prostitutes, etc.

The fact that women shame other women for daring to have boundaries and not wanting their male partners to watch porn or have bachelor parties at strip clubs is depressing. It's like many women are in competition of who could be the most servile, spineless person... and they're proud of it.
