You're right. But in a sense they are sort of giving up their dignity for muh soft power in their minds thinking it's better, even if it's a delusion. They would be much more prosperous both economically and militarily if they weren't cuck puppets for JewSA.

in modern history, the closest a Sinosphere nation came to balancing industrialization/prosperity, traditional culture, and maintaing a primal warrior ethos was pre-1945 Japan. everywhere else had flaws in one area or another.

    actually China under Qianlong Emperor was cucked as well. At that time China was actually in a period of prosperity called 康乾盛世, and shit was good. Qianlong thought everything was going so well that China doesn't need to do anything but sit and jerk off. So he arrogantly treated western emissaries and even put the modern cannons, which was given to Qin court as a gift, up for collection instead of applying it, lmao. And guess what happened the next? The Opium War, and even then China was still so cucked it refused to modernize its military lmafo.
