Is it normal to have preferences that are outside your dating pool?

Fat women? Yeah sadly a lot of skinny-fat, slightly overweight (like 25-27 BMI which isn't too horrible IG), and more horrifyingly, morbidly obese women are attracted to me. I'm not attracted to skinny-fat or morbidly obese since I don't like obese women. Slightly overweight is okay, as I don't have issues until I am a 27 BMI and 30% body fat which makes sense as 30% is obese for a woman in her early 20's. I am below a 27 BMI and at an acceptable/average body fat percentage BTW, which is between 25-29% for my age and sex.

Depends. Skinny-fat is more subtle. Usually don't know until you want to get intimate with them before you realise that they're skinny-fat. Complete turn off imho. Now morbidly obese, you definitely know it when you see it.
