It is incorrect to call a creature from 300,000 years ago a "modern human". Show me their recorded words, not their bones. Our ability to record our thoughts using words is inherently human. Why is is that the oldest recorded word is no more than 6,000 years old?

Long ago, there were human-like beings, but they did not have a completely free will as we have. They were more like the animals that live by instinct. The first human being with a free will was a divine creation from God about 6,000 years ago and his name was Adam. Some time after his creation, man began to record his speech as the written word.

And what is so special about the word? In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God. The word became flesh and lived among us, and yet he was rejected and hung up on a cross to die a humiliating death for the very creatures he came to save. All who call on his name (JESUS) shall be saved. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but his word shall never pass away, but endures for ever.

Ironically, to post this comment, I had to submit to a Cloudflare checkbox to prove that I am "human". Think about it: What really makes you human? Is it your bones? Or something else?

All of human technological development has been exponential. It took 100s of thousands of years to create basic tools, to learn farming and to create civilization to a point where writing (accounting) was necessary. So those numbers don't particularly bother me. By 6000 years ago humans were fully modern (and had been farming and building impressive stone architecture and art for thousands of years already.) Which means that just before Adam, the earth would have been populated by (soulless?) humans.

In any case, the theory and evidence for human evolution does seem to be one of the trickiest things for the religious to deal with.

It only took a moment for an angel to teach the first men how to acquire food and prepare it safely.... such as cooking it with fire.... so that they could live. Man's Creator did not put him here on earth with no help, or else he would have perished.

There was war in heaven. The technology for the deadly weapons of man are given by the fallen angels (the dark side). They would rather you call them "aliens" so man will not put the evidence together and realize the truth.... because if you knew the truth, the truth would set you free of their control.

Evolution is a religion and it is not difficult to recognize it as such, because there is no conclusive evidence.... no proof. If there were proof, we could call it a scientific fact. If you believe in evolution, it is because you chose to believe it as your religion, to explain how you came to be a human being. It is the belief that dumb forces could produce miracles.
