Does anyone even know he was still around and deliberately chose not to do anything?

I think the site is compromised.
If you're ok bring surveyed by the feds, or Intel agencies. And you're ok with that then it's all good.
The bird in the coalmine is quiescent. A deterrence effort was made. His conscience is alleviated.
That's my interpretation anyway.

The admin structure is not compromised due to tons of effort on my part, but the userbase has a ton of bad actors and that's been obvious to everyone for a while, and there's not much I can do about it because of how the saidit rules are.

I get it. I'm not complaining about the admin team. I'm not complaining about anything.
And I agree about the bad actors deal, as well.
The number of open platforms respecting dissenting opinions is dwindling.
The govt schemers surely have this site on their radar, and they enforce certain rules that prevent specific disclosures. A symptom of the times.
I don't have any significant criticisms about the admin. They're underappreciated.
It's yeoman's work.

I don't know of any semi mainstream news oriented websites that aren't compromised by intelligence agencies in some way. That's the whole point of being an intelligence agency.
