[Serious] How would you feel about Saidit adding downvotes, but having them be worth (say) only 25% of an upvote?

No. I'd rather "fun" count for zero rather than one though.

The split is to push intellectual content to the front page, while still allowing incredibly fun content to move to the front page in spite of it being of a simpler nature.
