The inciting incident for me was that WPD got banned. But I had been pissed off by Reddit's censorship and by the fact that it is just a left-wing echochamber for a while. I found out that WPD moved to Saidit, and followed. Started reading the front page, found out that there's actually interesting stuff on here, made an account so I could post. Saw the potential of this site once more people come here, started suggesting Saidit to other Reddit users.
