Dozens of non-fiction books over the decades covering all aspects of the Vietnam "Conflict" taught me that it was a war that should never have occurred and that lousy leadership within the USA federal government created a war where, instead, we should have met as friends and tried to assist each other with improving the lives of the common folks of our country.

None of them should have occurred. When was the last time you heard of a president or a congressman being wounded in battle? They leave that shit for brainwashed 18 year old boys.
